Continuing to Serve

Continuing to Serve: A Milestone Anniversary

This week marks two years since Bob Sproul retired from the City of Brantford - a milestone that has offered time to reflect on a career built around public service, community involvement, and helping others.

While retirement may have marked the end of one chapter, it certainly didn’t mean stepping away from the community. Over the past two years, Bob has remained actively involved across Brantford through volunteer work with the United Way, Participation Support Services, part-time work at Strode’s, and participation in countless local events and conversations throughout the city.

Those experiences have reinforced something Bob has always believed: strong communities are built through connection, listening, and showing up for people.

The relationships formed over the years - both during his career and throughout retirement - are a big part of what inspired Bob to run for Ward 1 Council. Hearing directly from residents about the challenges, opportunities, and future of Brantford continues to fuel that commitment to service.

As the campaign continues, Bob remains focused on bringing experience, community-minded leadership, and a strong local voice to Ward 1.

Hoping everyone had a wonderful weekend spent with family, friends, - and well wishes for another great week ahead.
